Non-parliamentary Opposition » Persons with disabilities

What measures will you implement to improve the disabled/impaired persons' movement conditions in public areas?

Georgian cities will be thoroughly adjusted in order to maximize the ease of movement for people with disabilities The legislation already provides for the adaptation of public buildings for persons with disabilities, but there is no enforcement mechanism in the law against those who don't abide by these regulations Therefore, we will create such a mechanism In addition to this, we will institute a gradual change of the public transport, and by way of inviting tenders will effect the introduction of cutting-edge transport equipment. As for the instalment of pavement ramps, this will become the norm.
